Red Sicilian Seed x 3 Bulbs

Red Sicilian (allium sativum ophioscorodon - hardneck).

Another red hardneck, also known as Nubian Red, this is similar to Aquila but warmer & spicier.

Very popular in Sicily in traditional dishes & roasted on barbecues.

Plant October and harvest beginning June.

*** All hardneck garlic produce a flowering stalk which is “the hardneck”. Snap this off as soon as it appears and use in stirfries. This can result in a doubling of the size of the bulb. ***
