If visiting The Garlic Farm via Public Transport, please find as follows:-

The Downs breezer - Southern Vectis open top tour
Includes the best views of the eastern end of the Solent.
 
"The tour operates from 29th May until the end of August 2010".

The one hour hop-on hop-off tour follows a circular route through pretty countryside, across the tops of the Downs with views out into the English Channel, across the Island & onto mainland England.

 

The tour links the Esplanade & town of Ryde, Wootton station on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Robin Hill Country Park, Arreton Manor, Arreton Barns Craft Centre, & Amazon World's zoo park.

The drop off point for The Garlic Farm is approximately half a mile to the south of us.

There is a footpath to the shop & cafe running parallel to the lane.

The Garlic Festival

In 1983, to celebrate the Isle of Wight garlic harvest and as a fund raising vehicle for our rapidly expanding village school, we started the Isle of Wight Garlic Festival. Attended by 25,000 people each year, it has been an astounding success largely due to its curious mixture of late sixties pop festival ambiance, country fair and garlic cuisine.
